Bollywood Garba & Raas Daandiya by Mayur Dance Team (TOI 2015)
Monsoon's Mayur Dance Team will present Folk Dances from Gujarat ‐ Garba and Raas Daandiya on popular Bollywood numbers. It is especially meaningful to perform these dances during the Navratri festival when everybody dances Garba and Raas Daandiya in honor of brave and fiery Goddess Durga.

Perdoem-me, mas o malhão e o bailinho da Madeira, nada têm a ver com o corridinho (dança típica do folclore algarvio)!
fntavora vc precisa de entender que esta é uma tentativa de "reprodução" de uma cultura por parte de outra cultura. É a sua própria "interpretação", com todas as decorrências da forma de sentir e assimilar a uma distância não apenas geográfica mas também física e emocional. O simples facto de manterem e cultivarem ainda estes "traços" da cultura portuguesa na Índia já nos deve deixar comovidos e até "agradecidos" pois revelam "lembranças" de Portugal e sentimentos que só os povos lusófonos conseguem expressar porque resultam de trocas efectivas de afectos e até casamentos entre nativos e portugueses, expressos ainda nos nomes e apelidos da maioria dos naturais instruídos dos antigos territórios indo-portugueses, que eles perpetuam. As outras culturas coloniais não podem dizer o mesmo pois praticavam o separatismo e até estabeleciam regras de supremacia cultural e étnica.
Concordo com o comentário justificativo de Mané Monginho: com os malhões, corridinhos ou bailinhos, misturados ou não, já é excelente, e até muito louvável, a forma artística/musical expressa para se manter a cultura portuguesa nas terras de Goa !!!
